PROCESS DEFINITION AND DEVELOPMENT - 'MODELS OF EXCELLENCE'

If your organisation has already defined the processes that contribute to success and you are satisfied that they represent 'best practice' for your industry then please read no further.

Using Processes as 'Models of Excellence'

• We are involved in helping clients define and, more importantly, re-define the key processes to achieve planned goals i.e. the best pathway to success.

• We all know that developing people and teams are important but unless their development is linked to 'best practice' processes then any employee's 'competence' must be questionable.

• We use a simple, proven formula for describing 'behaviour-based' processes in a clear and consistent way then use the resulting data for defining 'core' competencies together with 'common' and function-specific processes.

• We develop processes by defining who the end-users are (internal or external customers), where 'service contracts' need to be set up and where standards are needed to ensure consistent quality outcomes.

• Once defined - and modified to reflect 'best practice' - the processes will represent a sound basis for defining roles, reviewing performance and developing the people involved with them.
